Sometimes, love finds you when you least expect it—and exactly when God plans it. For Brittany and Rob, their love story is a testament to divine timing, faith, and the beautiful way God weaves two hearts together. In 2022, Brittany made a life-changing decision to leave behind the bustling cities of New York and Miami, returning to her roots in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Not unlike the beginning of all her favorite Hallmark movies, something was calling her home. Little did she know that this seemingly simple move was part of a greater plan—a plan that would lead her to the love of her life. As 2023 drew to a close, both Brittany and Rob found themselves weary of the modern dating scene. Frustrated and longing for a meaningful connection, they each made a decision that would change everything: they reached out to Ron Cater, the Matchmaker of Maine. Having each worked incredibly hard on becoming the kind of person they wanted to find and guided by their faith that they were meant to one day have an incredible partner in life, they trusted that something special was on the horizon. And special it was. Ron connected Rob and Brittany based on their shared values, aligned dreams, common interests, and their faith. Their first phone conversation was nothing short of magical—a deep, meaningful connection that sparked something extraordinary between them. On January 5th, 2024, their first date in downtown Portland marked the beginning of a beautiful love story. Rob quickly proved to be the old-fashioned romantic that Brittany had always dreamed of meeting. Weekly flower deliveries, surprise love notes, and her favorite sugar-free chocolates became his way of showing his devotion. To this day, we believe that Rob is Harmon’s Floral Company’s number 1 customer…on one very special and memorable occasion, even sending 100 long-stemmed red roses. Their courtship was filled with regular date nights and the joy of blending their lives. Their love grew deeper with each passing moment, a love so clearly orchestrated by a higher power that it could not be mistaken for anything less than a miracle. On August 24th, 2024, Rob proposed to Brittany with a ring so beautiful it will take your breath away—a symbol of their unique journey and the promise of forever. Today, we celebrate not just a love story, but a divinely organized connection. Rob and Brittany’s journey reminds us that when we trust in faith, love finds its way—perfectly, beautifully, and exactly as it was meant to be.

Our wedding dress code is Cocktail Attire. Cocktail attire for men typically includes a suit, polished dress shoes, and a dress shirt and tie. For women, fall cocktail attire typically means a dressy outfit with rich fabrics. Think knee-length, midi, or long dresses, skirts with a dressy top, tailored pantsuits, and stylish boots or heels.
